In Highland's rural area, a lack of public transportation and few activities for teens that are accessible without driving create a great need to raise student awareness of the dangers of driving while impaired or distracted. Through multiple student-run activities, including live performances, video, PSAs, journalism projects and speakers, all of their Highland High School students will be made more aware of the need for safe driving.
